The 4th Annual Trucking Matters Seminar Series 2025, hosted by Reliance Partners, brought together over 300 trucking and logistics professionals in Nashville, TN, marking our biggest and most impactful event to date. Over the course of two days, industry leaders, innovators, and shippers came together to tackle the most pressing issues shaping transportation today – from supply chain trends to risk management and everything in between.

This year’s agenda was packed with thought-provoking panels, keynotes, and breakout sessions designed to equip attendees with actionable strategies for navigating a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Highlights from the Seminar:

  • Freight & Economic Outlook
Reliance Partners’ own Thom Albrecht, Chief Revenue Officer, opened the day with an in-depth look at the freight market and economic forces driving the industry forward.

  • Reshoring & Nearshoring Trends
Rosemary Coates, Executive Director of the Reshoring Institute and President of Blue Silk Consulting, explored the growing shift toward domestic and nearshore supply chains and what it means for freight strategies in 2025 and beyond.

  • Trucking Litigation Panel
Legal experts, including representatives from the American Trucking Association, broke down the latest trends in litigation impacting carriers and brokers.

  • Shipper Panel
Leading shippers from MARS Inc., Ardagh Group, Seaboard Foods, Kroger, and Kimberly-Clark shared valuable perspectives on efficiency, sustainability, and best practices in today’s challenging logistics environment.

  • Breakout Sessions
Attendees dove deep into operational hot topics like FMCSA audits, cargo theft, and freight fraud, gaining actionable insights on how to stay ahead of risk.

  • Insurance Insights
Industry partners from Amwins and Nirvana joined our insurance panel to discuss evolving risk mitigation strategies and the growing role of captive insurance programs.
