Reliance Partners Opens in Birmingham

Chattanooga-based Reliance Partners, a provider of commercial insurance focused on the transportation and logistics space has announced the opening of the company’s new Birmingham, AL location.

Reliance Partners has been recognized by numerous publications for its growth and top work environment. The company was most recently featured in Fortune as one of America’s Best Workplaces and Inc.com as a member of its 500 | 5000 Fastest Growing Privately-Held Companies.

Eddie Claridy will lead the new Reliance operation locally in Birmingham. He is a Leeds, AL native and has been with Reliance Partners since early 2016. Claridy is familiar with the Birmingham market having previously served as Vice President for 3PL industry giant Access America Transport. Claridy continued to manage the Birmingham branch for Coyote Logistics following the Coyote/AAT merger and later through Coyote’s acquisition by UPS in 2015.

“I have worked with Eddie for several years in three different organizations and have watched him lead an office from start-up to more than 50 employees,” says Chad Eichelberger, President and COO of Reliance Partners.  “We plan to aggressively invest in jobs in Birmingham.”

Reliance Partners is no stranger to Birmingham. Former sister-company Access America Transport grew one its largest offices, and its three founders developed their passion for business while attending Samford University.
